PROCOMOBEL FUNDAY EXHIBITION The residents of the Costa Blanca are characterised by two very important attributes, their keen sense of fun, and dedication to supporting local charities. Therefore, they will be pleased to hear that a number of local business owners have come together to host an exhibition which promises to be an exciting blend of the two. The ‘Procomobel Funday Exhibition’ has been organised by ‘Procomobel Home Center’ in conjunction with ‘Business Group España’ (BGE) and will take place at the store on Saturday 28th June from 11:00 to 17:00 hours. It is designed to allow visitors to take a peek around the spectacular home centre, participate in an abundance of fun activities, and all in aid of a good cause! The concept was introduced by General Director of Procomobel, Francisco Lidon, and provoked by a neighbour, who works as a Volunteer for the ‘AEBE’ or ‘Butterfly Children’ charity, and suggested that the store become involved in their fundraising activities. Francisco felt that the launch of a giant funday would be the perfect way in which to unite the international communities, and consecutively raise maximum funds for the AEBE. He approached Paul Hamnett, of the No.68 ‘Caledonia Lodge’ of Freemasons, which is located in Ciudad Quesada, and requested his help in promoting the event to the international population, whilst he focussed upon encouraging interest from the Spanish. An international media presence has been assigned to the event, including television Broadcasting Group, ‘Cina’, a local radio station, and of course, the Round Town News. EXHIBITORS Paul and Francisco have received an overwhelming response from business owners of all nationalities. Members of the innovative networking organisation, BGE, which have pledged their support include Iron Art, Just Cool air conditioning, Hackett Home Security, Famous UK Brands, Calibre Jewellery, Advanced Business Solutions, Media ELX, JCLA Lawyers, Aqualyse, Crespo Ford The Embroidery Workshop and more. Meanwhile partners within the Home Center, Glass Curtains S.L; Freedom Pool and Spas; Marin, and Casa Interior kitchen will also be offering a variety of displays and fun activities. Special guests will include the Mayor, Antonio Martinez Canovas and Councillors of Rojales, and Mayor, Marylène Albentosa and representatives of Guardamar Local Council. A contingent from ‘Club Torrevieja, Classics and Specialist Cars’ will be presenting a few of their fine motors, and allowing fellow fanatics to take a closer look. A photographer will be on-hand to capture the moment on film, which guests will have the option to purchase, in exchange for a minimum donation to the AEBE. Golfing enthusiasts will have the opportunity to bag a 20 euro note, simply by marking their put upon it, while those with a good over arm should point it in the direction of the coconut shy |
